Hot galvanized sheet is hot-rolled galvanized sheet, cold galvanized sheet is cold-rolled galvanized sheet. In terms of materials, the composition of the two galvanized sheets is basically similar. The difference is that the cold galvanized sheet is thinner than the hot galvanized sheet, the surface quality is better, and the process is more complicated. The price is higher.

Technically speaking, the steel is hot rolled from the cast billet and rolled into a certain thickness of the plate, such as a thickness of about 10mm. If the user has no higher requirements on the surface, thickness and mechanical strength of the plate, the finished product can be processed, such as galvanizing and the like, which is sold directly as a hot plate. If there are higher requirements for the plate, then the hot-rolled plate is sent to the cold-rolled line for re-processing. After pickling, annealing, re-rolling and other processes, the cold-rolled plate with thinner, smooth surface and better mechanical properties is obtained.
